X-Lax

In 1993, after having worked at a comic shop for a few years, I was pretty tired of Marvel Comics' latest habit of creating an endless stream of issues numbered #0 & #1 with multiple possible covers, and less story, art, and thought than many of their previous books. They were taking heavy advantage of people out to buy a comic specifically on the belief it would be worth a lot of money afterwards... and more or less forgeting the people who just wanted to read the stories. I won't say they've gotten past that habit yet, but they did get better eventually. Still, I couldn't help but take a jab at it... so check out X-Lax (Special Edition To-Drop-Dead-For Collector's Copy Unsigned & Unnumbered) #1!!!
